You asked, If the brain's memory storage function is entirely biological and is not dependant on the spirit, then how is it possible that a person who's spirit has supposedly left their body still rememebers what happened to it?

Just venturing a guess here, but since I have had a number of out-of-body experiences (not NDE) & I was definitely doing thinking & looking around when I was outside my body, I would say that the spirit is probably almost an exact copy of the physical body, in shape and facial features, you name it. Now, just because a spirit doesn't weigh anything or seem to have 'substance' in this dimension doesn't mean that that the spirit's head is simply an empty shape. I would guess that the spirit has a brain which is an exact copy of the physical brain, only made of other-dimensional matter.

Strange? Maybe not. Scientists are still looking for the elusive 'dark matter' which they say, according to scientific theory, must make up most of the matter of the universe. They can't see it, can't touch or test it, but are certain it exists.

Maybe think of your physical body & brain as the hard drive & your spiritual body's brain as the CD which can be taken out of the computer, but has all the same information on it.
