I think that the power of God and the spiritual world is so very powerful and so very real that it behooves sinners to fear the consequences of sin - that there is a Hell. Hey, some of us have been in a living one right here on earth already. I figure we're all on parole, like our prizon system illustrates in some ways, really.
I think, too, that for those questioning Him and who he really is/was, that a Holy Ghost infilling would clear up any doubts that they may have. There's power in that! I think, too, that unbelief is the only think that would hinder a HG experience.
