Thanks Observer for your thoughtful interesting response. Since I don't accept your premise that there is a God or an afterlife, I'll just leave it at that since I have no desire for extended debate on the subject. I was just interested in how people deal with those questions. But Memo raises an interesting point. When I was a believer I was "saved" and headed to heaven. Now that I'm not a believer I guess that means my "contract" is null and void. Perhaps in the event that I am wrong a good lawyer could find a loophole. Maybe I could argue that Berg's deviance led me to abandon my faith and that Jesus was contractually obligated to prevent that from happening, so it was he who broke the contract. ;-)
