I really don't get what you're saying

Try as I might, I don't get what you're disagreeing with in my post to Fred. I agree with practically everything you're saying, well, at least until you started talking on about the Muslims & totally lost me. Anyway, in the beginning of your post you state:

In other words, NO ONE believed as you do, for at least the first three centuries, and were actually considered to even BE Christian; hisorically; sorry.

So for writing what I wrote I wouldn't even have been considered a Christian in the first three centuries? Please clarify if this is or is not what you meant to say.

Then you say,

Thus, you are MISLEADING Fred in this, and he's not getting an accurate answer, only an opinion you borrowed from Liberal "De-ologians".

I am not liberal in my theology & the arguments I cited can all be found in solidly Christian books put out by publishers like Eerdmans, Tyndale, etc. I simply don't get what is so unChristian about my post to Fred.

You close by saying, Observer, I'd suggest you read a book on the subject opposite to your current point of view; "Evidence That Demands A Verdict (Updated)" by a Josh McDowell

Um ... I highly respect Josh McDowell, have both his books on the subject & even mentioned to Fred that Josh was good reading. I'm really mystified. What exactly are you telling me?

You close by saying, Study is ALWAYS hard work; you have my sympathies--you may merely have not read important stuff I happened to have read on the subject.

Sigh.
