I find your reasoning to be circular and in a bullying fashion to make your point which comes across as the only clear and sensible point of view, according to you.
I liked what Moonshiner posted about Atheism and thought it was a good article. I think Atheists in America have a hard time being tolerated and are treated differently if they are in a position to apply for services or whatever and they fill out a demographics form and list themselves as athiest or agnostic. On the other hand, many Atheists and Agnostics are tolerant of others and few are on soap boxes trying to convert people to their non religious ways.
I said I was more of a Universalist. I would like to see more tolerance between religions or belief systems incl. atheism, in respect of common ground. Maybe one day. I sure hope so. But I cannot condemn one religion or another when it comes to mainstream religions recognized world wide.
So since I am not Islamic, please don't write to me anymore about the dangers of Islam. I am not converting and I don't care for views that put people in a box because of a spirituality that is different. I made it clear I am not talking about terrorists whether they be Islamic, Christian, Atheist or some other professed faith.
Particular to Journeys board, I would hope we could encourage each other in our search and our thoughts after the family when they are not the same. One box does not fit all.
