Well, it seems the guidelines AND the coordinator of this board have said that it is okay for us to post here too and talk about our paths without being attacked. So I will do so. I have been atheist for years and feel like agnostic now.
If I choose to view "God" as positive and creative energy, in any form, speaking thru people, nature etc, I can do that without having to be told it is Bergistic "magical thinking" as someone has said below. Also, that would mean it is out of place for the guidelines of this board for them to tell ME what I MUST DO, which was done in a post below.
I have made myself clear in not knocking their religious beliefs and that I'd like to feel like here I could talk about my journey after the family whether it be atheist, agnostic, zen buddhist or whatever it may be.
SO, this post is for YOU and others who have any path that don't want to throw bible verses in my face or tell me how I am wrong. What has helped YOU regarding your own quest for what you believe after leaving the Family? What has your journey been like? What helps YOU? I'd like to ask this of others too who have found paths other than Christianity, and I'd ask any Christian to talk about their own path without preaching at me please. I am no longer a "holy hole" and "God" is not my "doughnut". ;)
