Moonshiner:
Your statement was, verbatim:
“Btw, thanks for comparing me to Noam Chomsky. I'm honored, although I'm no where near his intellectual stature (I read somewhere that he is the most cited scholar in the world). You might have done better to compare me to Harry Belafonte, a hero to oppressed people every where.”
Obviously, your imagination/fantasy here is that Noam Chomsky has some vast intellectual stature, in the first place.
That is your major premise; right?
Right before you ask to be compared to someone you call a hero, the middle part of your statement is that "I'm honored, although I'm no where near..." said vast intellectuality personified by Mr. C.
So--you REALLY want us to beleive that you were making a HUMBLE statement about yourself vis a vis the minor premises you stated to ellucidate and therefore PROVE your main premise?
REALLY? Wow.
You say you doubt that she can read, that she's twisting something you said when it is undeniably OBVIOUS, although that is the position you insist you occupy, that she correctly interpreted you, and you not ONLY think that you "hit a raw nerve" with her, and that SHE is immature?
Breathtaking chutzpa! Bravo! Bravisimo!
Dude--do you think you have actually demonstrated a character WORTHY of her concern regarding your "previously high" (funny!) opinion of her?
I am sure she's crushed by that tender and personable statement on your part.
Oh, yeah.
Sincerely (look it up),
OT2 (OldtimerToo)
