Why is it that the word fundamentalist is like a curse word to some? It seems that if one is a fundamentalist, he is regarded at some bumpkin red neck with not much intelligence. I do claim redneck. I also attend a fundamentalist university with fundamentalist professors of whom the majority have PHDs. So please, please refer to me as a fundamentalist as I believe I am in very good company!
