I don't mind disagreements or discussions it is just the ridiculing of something different or putting someone down for believing differently and shoving bible verses down their throat. Don't we all know the bible pretty well? Even if it was distorted and horrible under Berg, still we know the verses.
I don't want to be lectured and if someone writes a differing view it is different from being told it is stupidity or foolish or I am bitter or a conspirator or whatever. Just give me a chance to show who I am without the judgement.
I haven't condemned anyone for being Christian here or fundamentalist Christian here. I don't want to be condemned for universal/agnostic views either.
We can all get reactive when something is a bad fit but maybe keeping it personal rather than saying "What you believe is...(trash, stupid,etc)"
just stick to what helped me personally and yeah,there will be differences and discussions. And I hope they get past the point of fearing being set up or someone trying to hurt others. I DO UNDERSTAND THOUGH WHY SOME FEAR THAT.
I just hope as I continue to post people will lose that fear and realize I am genuine in what I am posting and also genuine about keeping one handle here.
