you really need to study up on Islam, then you can quit wishing. Do you know about the Islamic code - the law of Sharia? This is true in all Muslim countries as Muslims must practice the law of Sharia, it's a part of their religion. However, some countries they will only put you in jail if you try to proselytize a Muslim, but the more fanatical they get, the more they practice the actual judgment, which is death. Missionaries in other countries talk about how their converts were often poisened and in some places, the Muslims would wash off their feet after they passed through the market because they hated Christians so much.
The unfortunate thing is that the Law of Sharia was written into the Afghan constitution and even the Iraq constitution. I have relatives in Iraq who are in hiding. There are 60,000 Armenians in Lebanon that have fled to Armenia. The unfortunate thing is that the hardliners are making way too much headway in way too many countries. What I wish is that the world would wake up and make more noise about the injustices perpetrated by the law of Sharia and world scrutiny would keep at bay these practices and help Muslims develop a moderate, and good-neighborly version of Islam that rejects radical Islam, jihad, and the subordination of "infidels." I don't see it happening though. Oh, and Saddam wasn't really a Muslim, not a practicing one anyway.
