So you think you're an Islamic scholar now because you read a book about it? Listen, the Koran is no different than the Bible. They both can be interpreted many different ways to serve all kinds of nefarious purposes. There is no consensus in the Islamic world as to the correct interpretation of the Koran. Just as with Christianity, there are many different versions of Islam. The examples you use to denigrate Islam are where religious leaders have twisted the Koran to serve their own political ends. There are many Muslim scholars and clerics who denounce those extremist elements in the Islamic world.

I'm sure as a Christian you don't like being lumped in with all the Christian sects, churches, whatever, that espouse radical, extremist doctrines, otherwise you'd still be a supporter of The Family or some other such sect. So why do you feel it is necessary to paint all Muslims with the same brush? Imo, it is simply self-righteous arrogance to think that Christians as a group are any better in the eyes of God than Muslims as a group.
