I certainly had no intention of insulting you OR lecturing you. Looking at the wording and realizing you don't have body posture or tone to go with it I can see how it felt that way to you.
What I basically meant was there is a lot about killing and other atrocities in the Bible including human sacrifice. I could pull out some verses on that and say the bible is about that.
I believe someone else wrote or I read about the time period the Koran was written in and it was during times of war. If you look at verses on war in the bible you will find chapters where bodies were divied up and sent to the four corners of the realm.
Wouldn't that fall back to the MIS-application of the Bible and the Koran? The Salem witch burnings, also misapplication of the bible along with theology of the era.
This has been an interesting conversation and I have been taken by one person to be anti-semitic and by you as a lecturer.
Something is missed with the written words alone. I'll try to keep that in mind with further posts.
