Well, that would be good if the educational system did that much even, to teach it as a Philosophy course, tho I doubt it will happen. From what I've read on the subject, evolution-minded educators are diametrically opposed to teaching ID at all. Of course, that may partly be because ID proponents want it taught in biology classes as an alternate to traditional evolution. I personally think ID should be taught in biology classes as one of many theories.

Btw, does anyone know what is taught in biology classes these days? Is it still only orthodox Darwinian evolution (gradual changes in minute increments), or are they also now teaching the Punctulated Equilibrium theory? Also, are they finally starting to teach Panspermian evolutionary theory?

Traditional Darwinian theory is outdated as far as many leading evolutionists are concerned (Stephen J. Gould first among them), & without both Panspermia and Punctuated Equilibrium to fine-tune it, traditional Darwinian theory doesn't stand a chance to compete with Intelligent Design. I know that sounds like a sweeping generalization but if you are familiar with Punc. Equilibrium & Panspermian theory, you see how they help fill in quite large logical holes in evolution.
