What I have realized is that when I read the German, I understood it, pretty much every word, but to write my thoughts in German or to speak it, is much harder, especially without being in contact with the language for such a hard time. So I can understand that what comes across, especially what was said in part, would come across very offensively on an exer chat board. I have since received an e-mail which I translated for him, which clarifies much of what he said, along with an apology. He sounds to me like someone sincere who is new to coming to a recovery board. Therefore, he has no idea what is correct to say, and has opinions which are in some instances not popular, but not pro-family at all. Some are very fitting compared to others that post here. He wants to converse here, but gets frustrated when he wants to express how he thinks and why. His e-mail (in German) made much more sense to me.
