What to believe?

In the 'Gospel of Judas', Jesus tells Judas to betray him. They basically plot together to make it happen & help poor Jesus get rid of his (evil) physical body by getting him crucified.

But in Paigent's 'Did Jesus Die on the Cross?' below, it's not Jesus & Judas conspiring to get Jesus crucified, it's Pilate & the Zealots conspiring to get him crucified & now Judas is working with the Zealots to do it, not with Jesus.

As Paigent says, it is interesting that the man who has been recorded as the traitor, Judas Iscariot, was undoubtedly a Zealot Sicarii. He was, we can suggest, a traitor to Jesus but a patriot to the Zealots. He did what they wanted.

Seems like Judas was doing what everybody wanted.
Hope you don't mind my humor.
