Mark:
A "budgie" is most typically the British name for a parakeet, or "budgeriggar" (the spelling there's probably wrong!).
My great-Grandmother had one who could talk; a LOT! Her name was Mary, and his name was Pat.
Pat could say, "Good morning, Miss Mary!", "Pat's a pretty bird!", "Gimme some sugar", and a couple other phrases, as I remember--he was a pretty amazing parakeet!
Regarding Moosnshiner's post, though, I just recall that CS Lewis said: "Foolishness, even when it is about God, is still merely foolishness".
My opinion about atheism is that it is untenable within real science and sound philosophy and I have consistently observed that most of its proponents today cannot really give a logical defense of it, without resorting to personal attacks on those who say it holds no water as a belief system.
In other words, it is the ultimate foolishness, without meaning ANYTHING personal here.
Sincerely,
