I still feel that your statement calling athiesm 'the ultimate foolishness' is too much of a sweeping statement & that you'd get further actually explaining why you think athiesm is not logical.

About these amazing talking birds, I've always wondered how an animal with such a small brain can engage in such an intelligent activity -- talking in human speech. Of course, they're not really talking, only 'parroting' speech like a tape-recorder. Most of them can remember a lot but have no idea what they're saying.

But then there are the SMART birds who know how to ask for food when hungry & probably a lot more. There's my question. I suspect that the ability to memorize sounds & repeat them is a localized area of brain activity, not necessarily denoting high intelligence. Knowing what to ask for in human speech to meet a certain need is a step above that tho. So again, my thot about such small brains capable of so much.

Life on the Orinoco delta sounds very interesting. Do you miss foreign lands? the sounds, smells, challenge of living in a foreign culture?
