The character of God-as portrayed in the OT- is "diabolical"...but the author of the article doesn't believe in devils, right??Just a wordshell, a parabel?
But he really is big on his own intuition!(page 3)

Swinging a pendulum made me go to the poorboy club/intuition included.Intuition made me follow the big leaders in TF...so much for my own intuition.
And he suggests Zen-Buddhism ist just a way of life, no religion/faith.I doubt it.It just has no concrete deity they worship/although they take also refuge to Buddha, think of it!...however Buddhism does talk about hindering spirits-from what I remember-, also was born in India in a very theistic surrounding/Hinduism, unlikely that all was shaken off by the Buddhists, allthough the quest to leave the circle of suffering stands out the most.I used to love a book by Eugen Herrigel, who lived in Japan & wrote about his experiences in Zen-Buddhism.That's why I took a course in archery with 19...they constantly talk about "it"...some power, that makes them do amazing feats, like shooting in the dark, hitting the bull's-eye and even splitting an arrow, that has previously hit the bull's-eye...all thanks to "it"...the author can fool himself & others, but
I won't subscribe my life to an unknown "it".
Sounds so neutral...but it/"it" isn't.
