After a delay of some months, the next couple of chapters in our journey of recovery has been posted. These pages document the reworking of our hearts as God untangles the confusion of doctrine we were left with after TF. Thread by thread, stain by stain, it is a long and often painful process, yet there is also great joy and relief, and release from condemnation.
The latest page deals with the concept of Christians being in subjection to a 'prophet of God', or being spiritually instructed through a hierarchy of prophets and leaders. Remember the fear with which we 'obeyed'? Remember the reverence with which we held the MLs? This misplaced fear, reverence and honour would be an interesting topic for study.
Another recent addition addresses the ease with which TF can appear to know a lot of Scripture, due to pubs like the Memory Book & Word Basics. How easy it was for me to run circles around 'regular Christians' using only those two books! And how deceptive was the appearance I gave!
