Does your wife go to church without covering her head? Does she speak in the church? I could go on with a long list of technicalities on sentences here and there in the bible which whole religions are built around which exclude others because of(fill in the blank)_______.

Apparently it wasn't an issue for Jesus because he never had anything to say about it. I don't see anything you are saying as "spiritual fact".
It is not a fact that gays are rejected or sinful because of their orientation. At one time people saw interracial marriages as sinful and some still do. They were even outlawed in some states in my life time. There is a difference between what is socially approved of and what is factually "wrong".

Generally when society catches up with science which it is starting to do with the gay issue, societal opinion is altered for the good. In this case it would be accepting gays as a normal yet minority variation just as being left handed is.

Also in my life time I had teachers tell the class that left handed people would go to hell. My father's hand was beaten and he was forced to become right handed. There was a societal dark ages acceptance that the spiritual fact was that left handed people were bound for hell.

Anyway, thanks for the civil discussion even though we have very opposite viewpoints.
