Good questions.
Of course there are people I consider to be absolutely "straight" or "heterosexual" and who were never bi-curious or same sex curious.
But I accept them because I realize through no fault of their own they were born that way. ;)
Me personally, I prefer the term "gay" on some occasions and on others I jokingly say "lesbitarian"
I never was real comfortable with "lesbian" and I guess that is because of how I heard it used when I was little.
Also, I am a lesbitarian that is very comfortable around gay men. More comfortable around them than with lesbian women. Some would call me a "lipstick lesbian". I call myself feminine and preferring the same sex domestically while my friends are largely gay men. Go figure.
I also have straight friends who are "straight but not narrow" and I call them by their names which is how they address me too.
