Turns out the "prophet" is a 13-year-old called Girl Jesus, who is still being breast-fed by her mother. Her parents run a religious cult made up of children & adolescents who "flocked" to the group apparently because their parents were promised blessings of material gain if the kids joined up. "Abusive" in this case means the kids didn't go to school, had no medical care, and were malnourished.
