Very well said! This one is a classic! It's all a case of Maria's hyper-religiosity. She likes outward conformity and "goodness" which is why she was a big pusher on the Victor Camps, then on the Perfect-yourself-by-obeying-all-the-little-rules-and-getting-demerits-for-farting Revolution, then that hyper-spiritual thing where you had to stop and pray before every tiny conversation. And now it's gone to hours of praying for leading and guidance in every decision. Wow! When will all the self-righteous works and false spirituality end?
