Yes, I did move the posts from GenX to Journeys but since it wasn't a subject that interested me I only speed-read the posts enough to see that they were about Buddhism, so decided to move them here. Since I had no idea if the allegations about Buddhist monks abusing apprentices were true or not, I thought I'd repost them here & let Buddhist experts like Susie reply.
I must've been half-asleep, but for some reason the jab against Chinese in the post's title didn't stand out to me. I guess because unlike you who deal with this on a daily basis, I almost never encounter this kind of stuff.
I recently deleted some posts on GenX that were offensive to a poster, LBFM, & can do the same here if you wish. I would like to leave your reply up, however, as it illustrates a good point.
