Right. Sorry for the offense of stereotyping southerners with grits. I Know some southerners who don't like grits. Then again a lot of Yankee folk do tend to stereotype southerners with grits, Moonpies and Nehi's--which can REALLY be offensive to those southerners who hate grits and Moonpies. Like the other day I met someone from Louisianna and offered to see if i could track down a Moonpie for her and she REALLY got offended. Funny thing is though, I like Moonpies!--though not with a Nehi. I think they are a bit dry and I like to wash em down with a cup of coffee.
Anyhow, sorry for the offense and from now on I'll imagine "grits/mashed potatoes" in my mouth when I talk redneck.
