I don't know how I could possibly represent the views of the Christian faith as a whole, as Christians are very divided on the issue of uses of violence & warfare. I do represent the views of a certain type of Christian faith, which is found among Quakers, Franciscans, German anabaptists (Mennonites, Amish, Bretheren), and protestant evangelicals known in the U.S. as Red Letter Christians.
As Moonshiner or someone else on this board has pointed out to me, I represent a minority view. Well, I never quite let go of the notion that the Gospel is counter-cultural and that whenever people of faith align with or are co-opted by mainstream culture & religion, something very basic about what Jesus taught is irretrievably lost.
