Thanks silent one. I appreciate the moral support. I state my opinions here, sometimes forcefully, just as everyone has the right to. Those opinions are always based on some aspect of my own spiritual journey. To be clear, I use the term "spiritual" in this context to refer to my own search for meaning, as in logotherapy, not as it is used by religious people. You can read more about logotherapy at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logotherapy and in Viktor Frankl's excellent book "Man's Search For Meaning."
As for my zealous, fundamentalist critics here, I no longer waste my breath responding to them unless, of course, they libel me or otherwise make it personal, which they do often. For example, their latest responses to my comment above that God exists in the minds of believers and should stay there are filled with ad hominem arguments that criticise me personally or make outrageous claims such as that I'm here to proselytise or some nonsense like that. Most of that nonsense I treat as merely an annoyance to ignore, unless it crosses the line into disparaging my character.
