Thanks Fred for the feedback...as you know from own experience, having read the Bible, certain verses pop up in the mind.Usually I have an idea, that such and such verse exists about a certain subject...usually I try to avoid statements, which are too far from scripture, at least when asked, I want to be able to give the verses behind the general idea.

It says in Ephesians 3:17-19: That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith ; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowlege, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Jesus dwells in the heart of the believers...we get to know a love - God's love, which surpasses the joy of some earthly knowledge...

So what is scientifically proven in your mentioned cases?
According to what I've heard & read before,
some probands were shown pictures of people, who were - maybe according to their standard & "normal" feelings - not very attractive. When electrically or chemically stimulated, the probands reacted with a great urge & attraction
towards these people.

But what is real love or what is really love ; ) ? Well, the old Greeks had something like 3 words
to cover the range/field, what we generally summarise under the label:love

The emotions stimulated in those experiments could maybe best be termed under the greek eros...however from all I know, the NT doesn't mention at all eros...only philia and agapae.

It's not healthy to mistake eros for agapae. This
great mixup happened in TF, where scripture was bent to fit our... & Berg's lust foremost.Other sects have done likewise...it's because eros is quite powerful (and hard to get by ; ) : ( )

Zillions of couples seperate, because they've lost "romance"/eros etc...hoping to find the "ideal"
partner, just to find out, that it never lasts in the initial intensity (by the way, I am kind of "amused", that it happens likewise with homosexual
couples)

So we can scientifically excite eros?...big deal,
actually, with viagra it has become a very big deal.
But can you scientifically in (ex)cite real love?
No.No one can ...on earth (now)...Either the love of God through Christ comes into our hearts by faith or we don't experience it & then mistake eros for real love. That's why also no one can put a stop to all these wars & atrocities...scientifically...well, unless you wipe everbody out or put everbody to sleep : (

That's why I am also convinced, that you can't "prove" God to someone...God proves HIMSELF to the searching, with faith...in other words, I cannot take God in my hands & bring HIM-prove HIM- to others...yet I should strive to be an example of His love, not a total contradiction...)

Have a wonderful summer,Fred.
