No, it's simply takes human nature -- whether a person is religious or agnostic or athiestic. I've seen 'good' people with NO faith do evil things. Don't forget the millions of Russians killed by otherwise moral Russian communist citizens. Remember Sovientysn talking about strangers walking into villages & the children cheering, 'A fish! A fish!' (The communist authorities had promised fish to villagers who turned in suspicious strangers & runaway dissidents.)
On the other hand, I've seen evil non-believing hypocrites do 'good' things. It's human nature, plain & simple.
