Princeton Islamic scholar professor Bernard Lewis published an article in the Wall Street Journal on August 8 predicting that Iran may be planning an attack on Israel for August 22nd.
This prediction is based on the belief that Iran's president is into Islamic prophesy and wants to prepare the world for the coming of the Mahdi, the Muslim messiah.

August 22 has been mentioned often by Ahmadinejad recently, even in the context of answering the U.N. about their nuclear program.
