CB: That's a rather odd question for you; I would think--maybe not. Oh, well.

Answer:
Right where it began, in first century Christian thought (pre-Constantininian thought), then with some of the reformers, and then throughout the other instances of history, whee "christianity grew up", as Ther Coniurato has already pointed out to you. ;-)

God's promises to Israel still stand, IMO, but as part of the fulfillment of the Abrahamic covenant promise by God, and where Gentiles were grafted in. Yes, Jews missed their Messiah, all the prophets promised Jesus' coming, and none mentioned Mohammed (except Jesus when He warned of false prophets in the "last days" (beginning at Christ's Ascension. Judaism missed Jesus, and then formed its own branches--some could fairly be called humanist; others could not.

Islam is hardly humanist, it never got past subjugation of women, and its very own "deceivers yet true" sort of doctrine (Suras 5, 9 and 11, for those of you who object to that manuscript-based truth; sorry) speaks for itself, regardless of what the PC crowd pretends is true.

We can also discuss "Maya" and "Lila" within Hinduism, if anyone insists Hinduism embodies ANY type of humanism--it DOESN'T.

Wait--your PhD's not IN THAT area, now, is it?
