In the beginning of FFing there was temendous pressure to "obey." It slacked off a bit later in some places but was still pushed in other places. And the thing is, the Letters always pushed it so if you were in the Family and wanted to "obey" the pressure was there.
Frankly speaking, if a woman was beautiful and had an attractive figure, she would have been especially pressured to FF. Leaders would have looked at her as a king-winning, money-making tool.
