They get sick easily and the boy gets bouts of depression? Sounds like a dietary problem to me. Or maybe they have just weak genes. And hey, it's flu season. Kid do get sick, good Christian kids, good unsaved kids and bad of all kind. Germs are no respector of faith.
My kids play with Pokemon and do not suffer from depression. They also have Christian videos and the wrappers are off and the videos have been viewed many times. I'd suggest that your nephew hasn't taken the wrapper off because he's not a Christian and the video doesn't interest him, pure and simple.
I would NOT allow my kids to have some of the darker cards out there, you can be sure of that, as some cards are diabolical IMO, but I don't see Pokemon as that way.
