There were no new rules

I think you've pretty much got it backwards.

There was wording which highlighted a Christian biblical thing, and people like Farmer looked at the rules and found it leaning towards a spiritual journey, with the emphasis on "spiritual." I added wording which allowed the dynamics of people like yourself to interact freely. We made it so you could be included without being pushed off of Journeys, and here you are telling us we caved in to pressure? Seems like we can't do anything right, can we?

For the record, it had nothing to do with giving into pressure and accusations. We thought the wording was vague and ambiguous in some areas, and prone to misinterpretation, and we tried to broaden it so everyone could have their space. I can post a sided-by-side old vs. new wording for your comparison.

Whether or not you like the idea that agnostics have a belief system, that is just semantics and debatable. The point is that you come to Journeys to share a journey. If you were reading Farmer's and OT2's comments and instead of ignoring them, you explained what you did just now, that you are sharing a journey and not monologing, it could have saved a lot of this misunderstanding. If you don't like what they have to say about you, speak up, and don't wait until we fix the problem and have you tell us we made it worse, please. If you were perceived as monologing and not sharing your journey, and you don't agree, it's your job to speak up, tiring as it may be.

We are doing our best to create a space for you and we get accused of leaning this way and that way and taking sides, it's just tiring. Honestly, we've considered shutting down the boards many a time, because we are tired of putting out your fights.
