Being "given up to worship the host of heaven" doesn't mean the planets; folks!
Demons are the objects of worship. The planets never DID have any influence.
There will be a new Heaven and Earth, eventually. The old will pass away, and the elements will burn away with a fervent heat, Jesus will "change His grip" on the entire universe, entropy itself will pass away, and all things will be made new.
Why follow the non-eternal?
