Hi OT2, I don't have much time to write lately but I like your last paragraph: "I learned to question the sub-Christian belief system of David Berg. How can I NOT, after that experience, question ALL belief systems claiming to have all the answers; which dogmatic atheism definitely does, and QUITE a few others do, as well."

I think this is good for one's self but it may not always be helpful for those with inmature thinking. In fact, while in their own journey, strong questioning may distract them and make them trip. I have been at both ends.

We don't want to be weak so that every whim of wind will distract us and take us away from our path but neither do we want to be so rigid that when some nugget of truth comes into our path, our inflexibility prevent us from learning from it because we fail to recognize it.

Disclaimer: I am not talking about you being rigid. I am talking about all of us learning to differentiate between those who can take it and those who cannot take it - and leave the argument alone when we reach that point.
