Because I believe that spiritual matters are quite serious. Had I taken them more serious as a late teen in the early '70s, I would not have joined a cult, after rejeccting the Gospel at least a dozen times, because I didn't take the people seriously who tried to tell me I needed to get saved, and take God's Word seriously.
