Yeah, she was a trip; wasn't she?
I remember a story about a major newspaper running the same astrological "predictions" two weeks, in a row, and that nobody noticed.
There were still followups by the same reporter observing that other people at that newspaper were still trying to take the stale advice, as if it would help them be the "perfect Sagittarius"; or whatever.
That, and the high frequency of the disco pickup line, "Hey, baby! What's your sign?" were, pretty much, what would you call it?
Oh, yeah---silly, undependable and false; a kind of "mumbo jumbo"; if you will.
Where does THAT phrase come from; anyway? It's kind of like what a witch doctor mumbles over those with false hope looking to him for some kind of personal "magic", or something similar; I guess.
Kind of like trusting a cult leader to actually hear from God FOR you.
I guess some people do use the phrase as an insult about other people's dearly held and cherished belief systems, too; though.
Hmmm.
Probably not worth thinking about for too long.
'Later!
Thanks for sharing the reminiscence.
