Anybody remember what the official or unofficial policy was in the Family for children having dolls or stuffed animals?
It suddenly struck me that during all those years around children in the Family I have no memory of actually seeing any child with a doll or a stuffed toy. Ever!
I did hear the one story from the very early days (early 70's) about the brother calling a little girl's doll an "idol." Did that opinion prevail? Did any kids ever have stuffed toys and dolls?
