Just 2 nights ago part of a saw a French docu devoted entirely to the Jesus Revolution Army. The docu was favorable.

It was uncanny. It was a modern day version of the early COG. They filmed in the Marseille "Mission Training School", where they live communally, pray, learn the Bible and go personal witnessing.

Their prayers had a lot of "Thank you Jesus" in them, the "leader" was a young woman with the bright eyed innocent sincerity that was in my eyes when I joined the COG. They are highly organized. They interviewed a newbie, an idealistic 26 yr old, older than the 20 yr old girl who was the "leader" of the Marseille community. It flabbergasted me to hear the guy say that "obeying his leaders was obeying Jesus", remember that one. And they interviewed her, she spoke with confidence about their goal of dedicating their whole lives to preaching the Gospel, she was so innocently idealistic, and like we used to say, "on fire".

There was such an abundance of similarities to those early days of COGism it was time trip, they've joined this with the same enthousiasm and zeal and idealism that we had in the "Revolution for Jesus", way back when. I hope the people at the top are what their followers believe them to be.
