Indeed it is very funny...but jokes & irony, as I got explained 30 years ago, have mainly their reason & root in doublemeaning, twisting & bending...
Members or sympathisers of the brethrenmovement would glady take that as an opportunity to explain, that such joke & "confusion" stem from the inability of people to discern between the differant covenants...times & households...as they call it.
Since that Dr. is a Jewess she might not know about the NT warnings against homosexuality...
The old covenant was really for the Jews...but definetely for the Gentiles & Christians to learn from & it might take a look at Genesis 9:22 & 23 to learn, that homo/sexuality/eroticism isn't a godly thing since the beginning.
And jokes like that might only pave the way for the false sympathy with homosexuals...meaning - my opinion - there is the right kind with them.
