Do you mean Christians don't have to believe God created the world - do you mean evolution with God just watching?
I used to believe in what you call short-day creation - the earth was only a few 1000 years old. Now I'm leaning toward long-day.
What are the reasons you stay short day? I've read the hebrew word *yom* meaning a literal day so I mean the other reasons.
