So, John 14:6 is also"out" by the authority of the "New Agers".
Seems to me the first incidence of "New Age" promises is the Old Lie made to Eve in Genesis Chapter 3. Hmmm.
"Hath God Said..." implies God is a liar; cheating you out of something by misinforming you.
"Ye shall not surely die..." implies the wages of sin is NOT death...", that time is cyclic versus linear (including God's SINGULAR judgement of individuals, and transmigration of the soul/reincarnation disproves Christ's uniqueness, Lordship, and ability to save (see 2 Peter 2, 1 Tim 4, and so on).
"Ye shall be as gods...". Duh! As whom? The ones who already fell, BEFORE Adam and Eve. Implies you'll succeed where Lucifer failed in his 5 "I wills", by joining him and his fallen angels, and your "gnosis" experience-to-come will make you realize you're actually "God; with amnesia".
Pre-TF, I experienced several kinds of Yoga, experienctially (not just in books or conversations with hippies). Been there, done that, got the demonized T-shirt. Had enough; thanks.
That's MY journey. I'm not preaching or forcing anybody to do anything. I do have the authority of actual experience, here; though.
By the way, WC emailed me and apologized that I'd recently been prevented from posting, and that my post to "Leaning long"would be forthcoming. I'll post his email later.
God bless you all on your jouneys; folks! Welcome out of the nasty little cult of TFI! There are equally bad things out here; just trying to warn about them, as a public service.
:-) 'Later!
