>One of our favorite valleys to walk here is the Val de Binn, a place close to the Aletsch Glacier which is the source of the Rhone River. It crystalline. The energy there is positive and therapeutic. We learned this simply by going walking there. First we visited a ederly Catholic nun we know who lives in the area, and she told us about crystals and the good energy there. Then we camped and walked in the valley, collecting lots of rocks with cyrstals in them to bring home. So the energy in cyrstals is something beautiful and I believe in it. In New Age stores you find lots of crystals.<

I have never gotten into crystals personally but I do enjoy their beauty. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be to walk in that area you are talking about. I feel homesick for that kind of nature. I miss mountains, fresh air and seeing lots of stars at night.

I feel different in a very postitive way, both physically and emotionally when I am around that kind of beauty. Unfortunately where I live right now I can't see more than two or three stars on a clear night, there aren't many trees around and there are no mountains. Maybe one day I will get to live somewhere that makes me feel good thru and thru.

I tried hanging some clothes outside to dry when I was in a house in this city and that was a big mistake. They didn't smell good so I had to wash them again and then dry them in a dryer. Even when my dog had a bath and went out for a walk, her coat held the scent from outdoors and it wasn't a pleasant smell. Sort of a stale urban odor.

>Further down the board here a posters told me: "I've been there and done that", and he says he wants to "convince" me that I should be careful. He said his experiences in life gives him the authority to warn people like me about my practices: "Welcome out of the nasty little cult of TFI! There are equally bad things out here; just trying to warn about them, as a public service." <

Yeah, I just noticed that. I don't know why anyone feels like they need to warn others away from lifestyles, beliefs they choose after the family. That journey is personal and one size does not fit all.

>I have the greatest respect to his choice of faith, belief and spiritual experience, the ideal would be if we could all be respected by each other here for our personal choices.<

Ditto here.
