About warning people about practices that are non Christian, and/or trying to convince people that someone else has had life experiences that make them more of an authority in spiritual matters than those of us who aren't as "enlightened", it's just tiring.

MG, please...please consider the "optimum"...from the Christian point of view: someone telling you out of love & concern, what is most likely harmful to you or to someone close to you...even, if you haven't encountered that optimum here, for the lack of real love among the posters , be they Christians or not

Personally, I like it, if people think so much about me, that they "grace" me with some profound
criticism...it's rather true though, that I have the habit of not taking lightly the - in my eyes -
cheap criticisms...

And then, what kind of picture/imagination do you have of someone "enlightened"...it doesn't jive with my picture of a Christian at least... a real Christian is aware of it, that he/she is nothing
but all through the grace of God...it's all charisma...gift of God...so if there is any intelligence, any wisdom, kindnesss or love it surely grew on the allegorical wastes/dung of a
bad past...past mistakes...that's what the scripture emphasizes...that it's not in us...so what should give me/us the edge over you??

By the way, I complimented you & Jo for sharing about your experiences and I meant that...it looks like you thought I was attacking you for that??
