Maybe part of the problem in communication here is in a need you have to challenge or warn others regarding the "religion" or non religion or lifestyle preferences they have found in their journey after the family. Since we are adults here with our own experiences and we have had more than our share, you included, in the family of being told what is the absolute way and more than our share of being told it was our job to warn the world, else those worldy people's blood would be on our hands..
can we agree to put away the warning woe rods or loving reproof words and maybe just stick to our own experience and encourage each other in spite of differences whether those differences be politics OR religion? (Yes I know that this is a political discussion free zone, but in another post you mentioned the need to set people straight regarding politics or religion and to do that in matters of politics OR religion is not respecting other adults decisions in how they choose to believe, live.
