Two places i got close to but never got to really visited and wanted to are Australia and Italy. I was in the south of Switzerland and the Italian part of that country and the closest i got to Italy was a town where a border was in the middle of the town. You could pay for things in Lira or SF.
I always wanted to see Italy as it looks so beautiful and has so much history.
Australia is another place I always wanted to go as well as to nearby New Zealand because there is so much wilderness and wide open spaces. The closest i got to that was South East Asia.
