Jo, I absolutely feel with you...concerning what you wrote about nature...it was a very interesting read, I enjoyed it & could "sign it" any time...

I often regretted, that I have had by comparison too little time in nature for recreations sake, but since this year I realised, that I have to do some efforts to maintain my physical health & besides jogging I do some gymnastics now, but not on a very demanding level...I want to enjoy it & not becoming slave to a new/old idea....there's a saying in German: who rests rusts
(Actually, when I had heavy backaches years ago, I also "invented" my own excercises & it got better, although I think, that the biggest part was mental/soul-pressure to overcome)

I got convinced to do more for my physique after
I had some strange pain in the chest area for some time...the check up didn't reveal anything bad, but the advise was to change the diet-habits & loosing weight= doing sport...

So I have finally my share of being more outdoors.
After TF the emphasis was on raising the kids...getting a job that allows a fairly normal life...including some travelling during vacations...all that came to pass, but I took little/no time for the physical needs (bodily exercise profiteth little, was also in my mind, but now I take the little I get out of it)

I had learned & still agree to it, to put the spiritual first & after TF, that's what took a lot of my freetime, to read...to get to know, where the truth in all the dogmas would/could be.

On the other hand, I still believe, that those, who put their physique first, above all, with no thought wasted on spirituality, sooner or later hit bottom or a wall.

So only to be in beautiful nature would never be enough for me, although it has the handwriting of God & therefore it is "naturally" an inspiration for me.Also nature gets heavily exploited & is therefore not so much as it used to be...climate changing, glaciers melting etc. etc.

I used to be as a teenager quite an environment-protectionist - since the futurescenario about our earth seemed since long quite negative - but was so happy to read in TF in the Bible, that God would create a new earth & as far as I can see it...sooner or later it's really needed.
