Chiding anyone for not getting along wasn't the point either. Surely you can see the point I was trying to make was whether it is worth the effort to set up yet another board, considering all the factors I mentioned - the trouble it takes to create and maintain another board, when maybe in the end it will serve only a very small number of regular posters?

You should know, having written some of the rules and guidelines myself, I couldn't agree more with you about respecting boundaries. THAT'S a big part of what I mean about learning to get along better. If you see some of the recent examples of stances I've taken, you should also see I have no trouble enforcing the rules, whether people cry foul or not: I had people from "opposite camps" crying foul. Ideally it should be enough to make things work, but sometimes it isn't. I am just trying to see if there is enough of a demand for a new board. If there is, I am willng to do it.
