It would successfully "Ghetto-ize" and isolate the "still Christian" population; THAT'S for sure. Seems like Hitler started that way; silencing the Christians; then everybody else followed. It's HARDLY in the interest of some "idealized" so-called "eclectic" group; viewed that way. Oops.
As we all "know" (not!), all points of view, á la Hegel, MUST be homogenized, as there are definitely "absolutely no absolutes"!
